Following the debate behind the agglomeration Lyon on parking ( see article in Libération du 15/12 Lyon), the association's Car other is more than unfortunate that the "solution carsharing" does not appear in the discussions even:
- that car sharing is just a solution well suited to the removal of a second car, often far from being indispensable in the city center. Autolib (car sharing service Lyon) would have been used to increase the removal of the second sticker for residents, a measure that is common sense.
- that the President of LPA, which manages Autolib is Deputy Mayor of Lyon in charge of travel and as such it should have a coherent overall vision issues travel .
This episode may seem trivial to us to doubt the intentions of elected officials want to develop Autolib Lyon in Lyon. Without an integration of Autolib in global travel policy of the city and without a major communication , Autolib likely to remain at the margin.
