Certu ad in its monthly bulletin "Transflash" April 2009 that "The car 1 €" celebrates its first birthday. The opportunity for us to launch the debate on this concept already attracted some forty companies.
The concept? The provision of a car with low emissions of C02 to employees of a company for 1 euro per day (insurance, maintenance and advertising on the car included). For now, the interest lies in the loyalty of its employees and the social and environmental conveyed, all for about 180 € / month.
Positives:
- creating a bond of solidarity between the company and its employee
- if the company is located in the periphery or in the countryside (no line of transport), that employees live more than 4-5 km from the business (bicycle use complex), and away from each other with time free (no carpooling possible ),... then yes the concept is interesting in that participates in fleet renewal and facilitates access to employment
Negatives:
- what if the company does not meet the above conditions ....
- a great competition to Travel Plans (BDP)
- and always and everywhere more pub ...
